Know Your Rights:

We have the constitutional right to form a union in our workplace. The National Labor Relations guarantees our rights. Fred Meyer Management Cannot:

  • Forbid you to talk about the Union during your off time at work

  • Forbid employees from discussing matters concerning their compensation, including specific pay or salary terms of individuals.

  • Ask you if you have signed an authorization card

  • Ask you what you think about the union or how you are going to vote

  • Announce that the company does not have to bargain with the union even after being organized

  • Threaten you with discharge or punishment because of your union activity

  • Threaten you with loss of your present benefits if the union organize

  • Promise you benefits if you do not organize

  • Spy on or interfere with union meetings
